The unknown is a darkened tunnel. It leads you through a swirl of possibilities that make your feet walk quicker and your breath wheeze softly. Your eyes are peeled for any sudden movements but it still makes your tongue fuzzy with fear when it hits you, even when you prepare for the worst. It’s always unnerving: the anticipation. It could give the illusion of peacefulness, happiness, love, but it just allows the worst to the best of people. The shock electrifies your body, sending you backwards into a fit of depression. Nothing will be the same again.
